Tuesday night is Granda night

Last night in the Ireland Imps Pairs after a slow start the Granda moved into a high gear near the end.

Here we see the Granda open 1H and his partner seems to roll out the Gerber asking for Aces. 17 points and 3 card Heart support ...presume granda plays 5 majors. Granda does the beginner thing of showing his void in spades as an Ace so 2 aces. Bouyed by a good answer Grandma bids 5C which I think is the KINGS part of Gerber. Granda shows 3 of those ...No problem as Grandma only has one.
Now grandma bids 6H which is the end of the auction for ordinary players. There is no sensible reason to go on.
However as the Granda has shown in the past he is no ordinary mortal. 7H goes the Granda ...
He "does not know " about KQ of diamonds or Queen of clubs ..
With granda counting VOIDS as Aces and Kings grandma cannot know either ...could be a void in diamonds and Spade Ace ... who knows ..
However maybe it is some kind of different Big Dog GRRR BRRRR they play. Its unalerted so I have no information. All I know is a person I never heard of is crushing my competition and I want to learn from this chap so I can get better at bridge.

Here the Granda picks off 500 against zaczaczac and the robot in 4S. Granda makes the normal 2H overcall over 1S and zaczaczac jumps to 4S. Nobody knows who has what but the granda with 2 aces fires in a double and buys some fine cards up the North. Like going to Jonesboro market.
Down 2 vulnerable and the very effective Granda gathers in another 10 imps to his pile.

Granda and higheg have also been slaughtering the Sligo folk but the Sligo folk seem generous as far as I can see. They need to get a lot meaner and stop handing out gifts to Granda Tom. Sligo cannot be that dreadful at bridge that granda just turns up and bangs out 70% after 70% ...
One night recently the Sligos were in real generous form .... Granda banged out 83.5% ..
