Ireland Imp pairs 830pm every night ..24 boards but we can do 27 boards by request if the players will be willing to Zoom along. Swiss format.

Tonight it is 5 months until Xmas. So play Ireland imps pairs.
Last night well known Wexford pair Terry O'Hara and Davie Noonan dominated the Ireland imp pairs gathering a nice plus 72 imps to win by 30 imps or so.
This included fending off thewitch by 6.5 imps in the last 3 boards and also a nice break when fionuna failed in 7NT donating another 16 imps
as well as the 11 imps the other way if 7NT came home which it very well might have done except for a slight miscalculation in the play or maybe a slip of the brain or finger. Looks like the HEART finesse is required but I did not look too deeply .....I just looked North gets squeezed in the REDS..
So a 27 imp or so swing on one board.
