Ireland Imps ..A Training session not a game

Ireland Imp pairs 830pm every night ..24 boards but we can do 27 boards by request if the players will be willing to Zoom along. Swiss format.

The Ireland Imps Pairs is the best training session a pair can have for Teams. The boards are fairly exciting as I deal a few extra and throw out about 4 ordinary ones. You won't come away from an Ireland Imps pairs without some story.

So last night Monday the powerful anonymous dadscar and jacksfox dominated the Ireland imps pairs again. So we will examine how 2nd place got on.

Board 8 saw our boys defeat 3NT after a Heart lead ... Those AKJTxx might better serve as trumps.

Then our two boys managed to make 3NT when the cards are against them.

I guess the opposition were on their side ..

Then our boys got the doubling stick out and gave the winners a little trimming in 4S. 

Finally Wiggy advanced too far on this own after making a penaly double and his partner took it out he took out his hurl and boldly bid 3NT. The liamog treated that a slap of his wooden spoon and loads of imps for the runners up

Earlier on the two intrepids tried out David Burns Law. David Burn is seldom wrong so the lads suffered a little going backwards and went down in 2S after the other 3 card lad decided to raise the ante. 

Finally the results and its dadscar driven by jackfox. 

Dave Terry made a good showing in 4th place with David O'Brien.
