Our laddie in the EAST Thomas Hanlon decided he was punting another BOMB and hoping it would hit something. The Israeli led a normal A♥  and Hanlon was away for slates.
13 imps versus the 5♦ in the other room

The Israelis hit back with a rightsided slam of their own on board 7 ..
Nothing Hanlon McGann can do here ... Boland Moran climbed as far as 3NT despite owning 11 diamonds they could have used for trumps .. 19-16 israel

IRELAND just got destroyed on this board in both rooms
However
4♠ was the contract in many matches so either Israel were better or Ireland picked the wrong opponents.
14 imps to Israel. The par on the board was 5 diamonds or spades down 1 doubled.
So neither irish pair reached par. However this is a hard par to reach.
However it must be worth a look later.

Board 10 the Israelis rolled us again. looking at the board results a red suit contract is the choice of most of these expert players. Game in 5D looks like a 10 imp gain .. part score in HEARTS is ok.
Very few are opting for a 2NT partscore and that duly went down to produce another filling for the BIN which is filling up again.

Nothing much else happened in the match and Ireland lost 52-18 ...

Not looking great for playing in Bermuda Bowl next year but maybe things will improve on Saturday
