Tonight amazingly saw 2 of the best players in Ireland run into a string of bad luck. Having a making 7S bid against them was quite costly but there was time to make a comeback. Board 15 should be every decent players slam but unfortuately for Michael and Karel they got the wrong side of it. However they should not be so severely punished for the weakness of the field in bidding.
As an aside Ben 2 and dandyman were first and visiting Danes 2nd place
This hand has 13 solid tricks but 6 pairs are only at the game level. I have not examined who they are yet but maybe if some of them would like to play some BBO challenges at 25 cents an imp we can get that organised. I will also send my bank details for accepting my winnings.
